Privacy Policy

FinLensy (“we”, “us”), a product operated by [Stolvix — registered legal entity name], is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we store and share it, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder. It applies to finlensy.com and the FinLensy application.

1. Information we collect

• Account data — name, email address, phone number, and authentication credentials.
• Engagement inputs — the company and financial information you submit to generate a report (financial history, projections, cap table, peer hints, and similar business data).
• Payment data — processed by our third-party payment gateway. We do not store full card numbers or banking credentials; we retain only transaction references and invoices.
• Technical & usage data — IP address, device/browser information, and product usage, collected via cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate and improve the service.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to: provide and deliver your valuation reports; operate your account and authenticate you; process payments and issue invoices; provide support and respond to revision requests; maintain security and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; and improve our service. We process engagement inputs only to produce your requested deliverables.

3. Legal basis and consent

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent and to perform our contract with you. You may withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights” below); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and may prevent us from delivering the service.

4. Sharing and disclosure

• Expert reviewers on our panel, who audit your draft report under confidentiality obligations.
• Service providers (data processors) who host and power the platform — including cloud hosting and database providers, our payment gateway, and the AI provider used to draft narrative. These parties process data on our instructions.
• Legal and regulatory authorities where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not publish it. Outside the categories listed above we share it with nobody.

5. Cross-border transfer

Some of our processors operate infrastructure outside India. Where your data is transferred or processed outside India, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain your account data and delivered reports for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and the data in it — your inputs, your uploaded files and your generated reports — within thirty days of the request. Write to info@finlensy.com. The one exception is transaction records and invoices, which tax, accounting and company law require us to retain for longer; those carry your billing details and the amount paid, and none of the financial information you submitted for a valuation.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and authenticated infrastructure — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Access to the financial information you submit is restricted to the reviewer assigned to your report and the engineer on duty. No other member of staff is given access to it, and it is not made available to anyone outside the company beyond the processors listed in section 4.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, or update your data; request erasure; withdraw consent; and nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. To exercise these rights, contact our Grievance Officer below.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the service, and limited analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may break sign-in.

10. Children

The service is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.

11. Grievance Officer
